    This ITALIAN GIRL suffered a mental disease: depression. That she was able to become a star and achieve so much is nothing short of a "miracle."

    Can we ever understand it ?

    Other people would have seen the disease as a tremendous barrier to overcome. But DALIDA's creativity and talent were stronger and won.

    DALIDA, what an example for all to see!
    Look at her endless list of awards.

    Is there a piece mising from the segment that you posted? The film stops at 3:49. The screen goes black.

    Guarda che ha un accento pesantissimo,soprattutto quando si tratta di pronunciare le doppie "b"…non so,far interpretare Dalida ad un'attrice che non sa il francese mi sembra un paradosso,avranno compiuto un'impresa titanica per il doppiaggio e le poche parole in francese che si sentono sono terribili.

    cette partie est la représentation de peut-être la PERCEPTION qu'à eu Orlando de Dalida vers la fin Dalida, elle, n'est pas là pour la valider; pour ma part personnelle, il m'est difficile de voir Dalida dans la posture que S.F. nous présente, puisque j'ai bien du mal à ainsi l'imaginer, tout simplement . Trop de dignité pour tenir ces propos et afficher ce comportement, cette attitude.

    Je suis d'accord, j'avais la même impression. Je ne l'ai jamais connue personnellement bien sûr, mais j'ai l'impression que SF joue trop la star ici, elle est trop vivante, c'est trop mélodramatique pour une Dalida qui est à la maison et en pleine dépression (à 2.30). Ça cloche avec l'image de Dalida comme je l'avais imaginée lors de ces derniers mois. Surtout quand on compare avec des documents de la vraie Dalida en 1987 ou elle avait tout simplement l'air perdu, absente, déjà partie.

    La voce di Sabrina Ferilli è stata tenuta solo nella versione italiana. Per la versione francese è stata usata una doppiatrice francese con accento italiano.

    I always thought that this movie presents only small segments of DALIDA´s life. The rest is fiction only to accomodate Orlando. He wanted the public to ´´see´´ certain things that would suit him. It´s all about him…. not DALIDA.

    The ones who lost in all this are the public, the people who loved DALIDA. They wanted the truth. They did NOT get the truth.

    This is mostly fiction.

    Why do you think this film is mostly fiction? I saw it and i think that it presents Dalida as a star and her unfullfilled an tragic private life of a woman very good.

    ki te l'ha detta questa cosa? Sabrina Ferilli ha studiato per molti mesi il francese propio per non farsi doppiare in questo film. e anche lei in varie interviste lo ha rivelato.quindi non penso propio che sia stata doppiata….

    Nella versione francese non è stata tenuta la voce della Ferilli, nei titoli di coda della versione francese c'è scritto il nome della doppiatrice di Dalida

    I have to agree with pontedupre009 - when watching the movie I noticed it too, that Dalida was not the main character actually. It's much more about Orlando and others, not her.
