My god you are so hot.
You are so beautiful. You bring tears to my eyes.
What a sweet lady.I could sit and listen to the stories for hours. You are an inspiration.people struggling today could use these tips and recipes.I'm going to try them all.
i think your stories are fascinating and people who say they are on a tight budget today should take an example on what you did during the depression. the food looks really tasty, and yet it is very cheap. thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Clara is awesome, and so are the people that realized that and made this youtube channel.
This video brought back memories with my mom. We were all coffee drinkers too and my mom allowed us to have it with evaporated milk. It was more milk than coffee back then. To this day I LOVE strong coffee
Clara reminds me so much of my mom! *lol Please keep these video's coming. Can you please message me with the address so that I can buy her recipe book. I'm also compiling one of my moms recipes. It takes a lot of time but it'll be done one day
God bless

Clara, I wanted you to know that I've used your videos in teaching my sixth grade students about the Depression. They love you. Many of them have made your recipes and brought them to share with the other students. (Oh, and I have to say that I'm using my daughter's sign-in…I'm not a vegi vampire…). Thanks for making the beautiful videos!
I love her
I think you are adorable xoxo
ya she's nice and chunky. ha ha!
Thank you very much for sharing! I just can't help but adore you.
Hugs!
Woah she's fit for a 93 year old!!!
I feel like crying..Mom talked of the depression too..It was so hard on them..They would stay up all night in the field and protect their crops..Clara what a wonderful way to share with us the generation of plenty what times may be like in the future..
Clara, you are wonderful - thank you so much. I love your videos. God bless you. Geena, New Zealand
We used to go to Geneva-On-The-Lake when we were children.
Love your video's, brings back lots of happy memories for me.
i love clara!
@MrAndrewdaily Great gramma, but yeah she is
my great gram is 20 years younger than clara and already getting super forgetful and slightly batty
I remember my grandfather taking us camping and making coffee exactly this way…best coffee I've ever had. Forget starbucks!
Hmmm… this doesn't seem like depression cooking… Someone to stay home to prepare fresh cookies, fresh coffee, etc. That was their depression!! Ours is: Eating msg laden foods, everything with preservatives, and the only way to get fresh, organic food is to pay a ridiculous amount!! in this day n age, we can only wish we had our own garden!
Really well done, I like your way of cooking.
