NOT A PERMANENT SOLUTION. Meds like these are made to help while your getting counceling or wehatever. Its not something you take long term. Im glad youve probly never had a reason to take meds but dont criticize all this shit without knowing. Everyone on here thinks their a doctor or something. Well Doc Im just trying to explain to you the listed side affects doesnt include incontinence. Frequent urination but thats it as far as your bowels. Once again POSSIBLE Side affects Doc!!!!
On the contrary naw3snj9– I did in fact take these drugs by suggestion of a physician, so I speak from personal experience. Possible side effects, heck. I would have been thrilled with frequent urination.
The fact that after several years one can't hold urine while readying to go the bathroom (and it was not frequently, just normally) but the URGE is sudden and furious when it does come. Life without incontinence pads was impossible!!! Not worth it to me. Basically I had to take charge of my life. Give up bad habits like alcohol, garbage foods, and get sleep, exercise, and a strong faith based practice, and after my brain was finally allowed to make it's own happy drugs again
(6-8 months) it's so much better than life with prozac, effexor, or cymbalta. I've been free of those killer psychotic drugs for 4 years now, and I'll never take another. It is indeed a permanent solution, and better than being mandypandered and popping pills! Try it you might like it. I have tales to tell of my upbringing that could make many shudder, but an all encompassing regimen of healthy eating living and exercising and spiritual maturity does FAR better than some chemical treatment.
Go check out CCHR and learn what a scam the psychiatric industry, not a legitimate disease in the lot, but they sure do push harmful drugs on folks! You can counsel and heal without them– Life is Tough– DEAL with it. And I DID use the drugs that I speak of that's why I can make this educated statement!

naw3snj9, the fact that you resort to telling some one to eff off, just confirms your lack of maturity. I indeed am studying medicine, and I have seen the ill effects of these dangerous drugs, AND I've experienced it first hand for years. Finally I decided to treat the problem and not the symptoms and found that those drugs were not necessary. If your ready to communicate maturely rather than cursing someone who has actually dealt with the issues I welcome your opinion, you're entitled as am I
And if you took the time to investigate groups on the internet you'd find that many folks dealt with incontinence. It one of MANY side effects (not possible) that people DO experience with Cymbalta, and Effexor, I stated earlier, not sure if it's with prozac. There are support groups out there that confirm these issues. The pills are a quick fix and an more effective way of fixing what's broke by not treating the symptoms. They really are dangerous drugs. And over prescribed.
Any guys here have any experience with PROZAC and lasting longer during sex ?
i have a horrible case of premature ejaculation and want to take Prozac for it.
Please do NOT tell me to use one of the ' natural' methods out there, cause ive tried them ALL and nothing helped.
Thats why this is my last resort to cure this awful problem. Ive read this drug makes a guy last longer
Acebaker911, I don't know anything about male issues with it. I guess that's something you will have to discuss with your doctor, and the reason you wish to try it. But I do not recommend these drugs for any one with mental disorders unless seeking a chemical restraint since physical restraints are so highly frowned upon.

Looks like premature ejaculation is just something you are going to have to deal with. DON'T get Prozac for it.
If you have been abused or neglected as a child, THAT is the real reason for your depression. This "Chemical imbalance" stuff is BULLSHIT. YOU MUST DEAL WITH YOUR DEPRESSION HEAD ON. Don't try to escape by taking a pill. It won't do any good.
If you have a belief in God, revert to that as often as you can. You will be rewarded for your faith. Look for friends that can you can trust with your darkest thoughts. They will pull you through.
